What will I learn? You will learn where and how to continue your family history odyssey using traditional records and methods as well as using computer and internet researching techniques.
Will there be homework? Yes, it will be directed toward your own family history search. You will be expected to “surf” genealogical websites.
Will there be testing? Yes- Successfully identifying your ancestors is your test and your reward!
Will I receive a Grade? Yes, based 10% on attendance, 90% on classwork
What do I need for the class?
You will need a library card to access library catalogs and websites
You will need access to a computer-home, work, college, library.
You will need an email account-anywhere.
You will need appropriate attire for surfing the Internet
